You have been waiting on God while he has been waiting on you.
You are asking him to bless something you have not started. Asking for provision for a thing that does not exist. Asking him to open a door you have never walked up to and knocked on. And he is standing there ready to move the second you actually move.
The pattern is consistent everywhere in scripture. The water parts after the foot hits the river. The oil multiplies after the widow starts pouring. Provision meets obedience, it does not precede it.
In this episode I also give you the clearest way I know to identify what you are supposed to go first on, and it is a hint that has been sitting in plain sight your entire life. Look at your free time. What do you drift toward, what do you read about, what conversation could you have for four hours, what do you help people with for free without ever calling it work. That is the trail. God builds the pull into you and then waits to see if you follow it.
Plus the specific test, what could you do that serves people that you would be genuinely excited to wake up for. The morning structure of filling your cup and grounding yourself before you create. The neuroscience of why unreinforced behavior naturally extinguishes, which explains exactly why people quit before results arrive, and why building your calling around something intrinsically rewarding is the only fuel that survives that season. And the priests at the flooded Jordan whose feet had to touch the water before it ever stopped flowing.
He is not late. He is waiting.
Go listen.
