You keep asking God for an answer he already gave you.
You are praying for clarity, for a sign, for confirmation. And meanwhile the answer has been sitting in your lap for two years while you keep asking him to send it again in a format that requires nothing from you.
It is like praying for a cake. God sent you flour, sugar, eggs, butter, a bowl, an oven, and a recipe, and you are standing in a kitchen full of everything you need, still asking him for a cake, wondering why he is not answering.
I go all the way in on this today. Why asking for another sign is a stall tactic dressed in prayer, and the honest test of whether you would actually move if the sign came. The full inventory of what he already gave you, the story, the voice, the phone in your pocket that reaches the whole planet for free, the lesson somebody else is drowning in right now. The man on the roof who waved off a truck, a boat, and a helicopter while praying for rescue. The neuroscience of why uncertainty registers as a real threat in your body, and why seeking reassurance gives you a hit of relief that never actually resolves anything, which is exactly why you can keep asking forever. And Moses at the Red Sea, being asked by God directly, why are you crying out to me, lift up the staff already in your hand.
The sea did not part while Moses prayed. It parted after he raised what he already had.
You are not waiting on God. He is waiting on you to preheat the oven.
