Hey there,
If you’re waiting for permission to finally tell the truth to others, but especially to yourself consider this your sign. Radical honesty isn’t just about calling people out or having hard conversations. It’s about the courage to face YOURSELF when it’s messy, embarrassing, or even a little ugly.
You want clarity? You want breakthrough? Here’s the hard truth nobody preaches from the stage: You won’t move forward until you own your part completely and publicly, if necessary. I said what I said.
Half-truths keep you stuck. Pretty lies keep you comfortable. But calling things what they are? That’s the ONLY way out of the self-sabotage cycle. And yes, it’s scary. Self-ownership means you run out of people to blame. It means you get off the hamster wheel of “But it’s not faaaaair,” and do what needs to be done.
- Radical honesty: Admit where you’re hiding, avoiding, numbing, or making excuses. OUT LOUD.
- Personal ownership: What do you have the power to change right now, even if it’s uncomfortable? Do one thing today that your future self would thank you for.
The world is drowning in blame, shame, and finger-pointing. But that isn’t you not anymore. Your crown straightens when you stop waiting for rescue and rescue yourself. It may not look glamorous, but it is holy. It is freedom. It is growth, even if nobody likes that you stopped playing small.
You’re not created to blend in. You’re not meant to keep editing your truth because you’re afraid to rock the boat or lose people along the way. Lose ‘em. If owning your truth costs you approval, they were never your people anyway.
I’m cheering for the version of you who’s done with the half-life. The you who’s ready to do the work, say the thing, and keep it real with yourself first.
Radically honest, always
Branden
P.S. If this hit you right between the eyes forward it to the one person who needs to stop waiting for the perfect moment and start living in the truth.
